DescriptionImage of a young man seated in profile holding up a glass half filled with dark liquid. A mortar and pestle rests on a small round wooden table beside him. He is wearing a decorative cap, vest, and bow tie with an apron tied around his waist. This sixth plate daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat with rounded corners inside of a case with an embossed floral design and gold tooling. The light green velvet liner is also embossed with a floral design.
