DescriptionThis full-color trial proof with many marginal notations depicts at the lower right, the head and shoulder of woman of Asian heritage with black hair streaked with white; pompadour on top and curls by her proper right ear. Glasses with square lenses, smile with red lipstick; red blouse. Above her a work of abstract art in black, white, blue, yellow, and red. On the lower left, a covered casserole pot in grey with a white (glass?) cover with a black handle. Behind it, a grill with the cover pulled up and a small fan in the center of the top. Above the grill, a print with a wave in blue and white against a red sea and yellow sky.Provenance
