DescriptionImage of two men seated next to one another with legs crossed and hands in their laps. Their cheeks are colored a rosy hue. Their hair is parted on the side and falls below their ears. Each man is wearing a jacket with a vest, stand up collar, and bow tie. The man on the left has a full beard and wears a glove on one hand. This quarter plate cased daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of a paper-covered wooden case with gold tooling around the perimeter. The case (recto and verso) is embossed with an abstract design with an oval leaf pattern in the center.ProvenanceHall Family Foundation, Kansas City, MO, 2019;
