DescriptionThe lidded storage vessel has a wide base with a full, gently swelling form. The upper half of the vessel gradually curves inward to smaller mouthed opening topped by a fitted conical lid. The vessel is in good condition, with its gray-brown surface showing normal wear. The surface decoration consists of deeply incised lines: a pair of incised lines encircle the lower quarter of the vessel, and the vessel's mouth is encircled by a wide band of concentic lines. The shoulders of the vessel are embellished with three (?) large incised concentric circles which are bisected by a pair of incised lines that encircle the vessel. The vessel's conical lid is topped by a small conical knob, and the lid's outer edges are decorated with small semi-circles of incised concentric lines.ProvenanceWith Mamady, by 2006;
