DescriptionWhite porcelain ovoid bowl with a broad rim, with a shallow crescent of the brim removed. The well of the bowl decorated with a handled basket in underglaze dark blue overflowing with brick red enamel flowers. The rim is also painted with red enameled chrysanthemum-like flowers emerging from rocks in underglaze blue. Some of the flowers have gilded centers. The well and the rim are each outline by a thin, underglaze blue double line. The underside of the bowl has sprays of underglaze blue and red flowers.
