DescriptionImage of a young woman seated in an upholstered chair. She wears an off-the-shoulder dress with a full ruffled skirt and short sleeves. This half plate daguerreotype is housed in an oval brass mat stamped with the maker's name inside of a leather covered case embossed with an oval and grape motif and a red velvet liner embossed with a scroll motif.
