DescriptionImage of a young black woman with a sleeping baby on her lap. The woman wears a striped dress with a lace collar and fingerless gloves. This sixth plate cased daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of a brown case with a Three Flowers motif and a pink silk liner.
