DescriptionImage of a woman seated next to a birdcage with a bird perched inside. The woman wears a dark dress with a full pleated skirt and ruffles on the sleeves. There is a handwritten label on the front of the plate and the plate is hand-colored with gold and red details. This sixth plate cased daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of a case with Thistle Motif and a pink silk liner.
