DescriptionImage of a man holding a hammer in one hand and tongs in the other. He's wearing a rumpled work jacket whose top button is missing and is replaced with a pin and a striped shirt with rolled up sleeves. His tie is askew, his dark hat tilted. This sixth plate cased daguerreotype is housed in an oval brass mat inside of a case with a star motif and an embossed red velvet liner.
