DescriptionRectangular form on spreading rectangular foot bordered with band of gadrooning, rising to plain rectangular body with reeded lion-head handles and gadrooned rim. Body with later cast and applied armorial with Baron's coronet; conforming cover with removable reeded lion-head handle; engraved one side with family's early armorial, opposite side with later armorial with added Baron's coronet. Conforming cover with removable handle and gadrooned interior rim for reversible use as a serving dish. Silver liner inside tureen, plain except for small shell-shaped handles.
