DescriptionEleven concetric rectangles of guilloche strips attached to flat gold frame with gold wire stiches; outer and inner border of pyramids of four tiny balls; center circle of gold with outer pyramid-ball border and two inner guilloche strips attached to frame at one end by short arm and at other by longer arm; rock crystal Maltese cross fixed to central gold circle by round-headed gold brad in each vertex; Chi-rho of flat strips appliqued by brads at each inner corner of frame; in c. of cross, ruby circumscribed by three rows of granular work. Beneath shorter vertical arm of cross, small winged figure in relief.
