DescriptionPorcelain vase made in three parts secured by interior rod; gilded pedestal with onyx top. Vienna blue beehive mark painted over glaze. Vase with deep, rich, cobalt blue ground decorated with elaborate gilding in geometric and floral patterns; neck and vase decorated with sepia paintings of classical scenes; full-color paintings on vase of "Hero and Leander" and "Alexander Gastmahl" identified by golf titled below; gilded pedestal with onyx top may not be original to this piece.
