DescriptionBuff body covered with crackled translucent white glaze; main cavity decorated at bulbous end with zig-zag field of diamonds and squared quatrefoils in a repeated parallelogram grid in blue, green, iron-red, and gold overglaze enamels; cluster of vine leaves in similar enamel palette hangs from rim of secondary cavity spreading into the interior; gourd-shape curved areound to form a closed comma shape with black enamel stem trailing from gourd top into body cavity; four loop feet on bottom.ProvenanceMrs. George H.
