DescriptionThe kimono is lined and made of plain weave Meisen silk. The weft of the fabric was printed with stencils and was woven to make the pattern of yabane, or arrow feathers. The mustard yellow ground contrasts against black arrow feathers decorated with blue, red, and white lines.
