DescriptionThis key stone proof on buff paper is printed all in black. In the center, a figure with an upside-down cello as its torso. Its proper left leg is composed of a mandolin or lute atop an indistinct something (xylophone keys?), ending in a horn with a mute(?). Its proper right leg is composed of a concertina and a tuba, ending in something that serves as a foot. The proper left arm is made of piano keys and a trumpet and the bent proper right arm is a harp. A drum serves as the head with a flat face out of which comes a streamer of notes. In the background a village with church spires. On the right side of the print, four moons and a heart with an arrow through it. On the left side, a streamer held by three birds and a broken heart.Provenance
