These layered images, taken at different times and from various viewpoints, invite viewers to experience the land as Terry Evans does on her daily walks. She notes: "I want to bring the viewer with me and to show this kind of journey . . . to show that, the more I looked, the more I saw." Evans delights in the small details she discovers. "If you look closely down in the bottom left corner [of The Hay Meadow]," Evans points out, "you will see a tiny frog. This is my favorite part of the picture."
