DescriptionThis lithograph consists of 20 individual black and white drawn compositions ordered in a grid, with four horizontally across the top and five vertically from top to bottom. Each scene depicts performers dressed in elaborate costumes who are typically engaged in dramatic gestures or dance. Most have the appearance of being on a stage set.
