[Translation: THE DAGUERREOTYPE PORTRAIT / Here is the product of the sun...my...it is coloured, eh?... and looks quite warm...and all that in just three seconds! / -How very true...one would not say in seeing this that I stayed in the sun only three seconds...one would rather believe that i stayed there three years, because I look as black as a negro...never mind, it is a handsome portrait, and my wife will be content!...]
