Purchased from Fach by Milton McGreevy (1903–1980), Shawnee Mission, KS, September 20–November 10, 1959;

His gift to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO, 1959.

NOTES:

[1] Klein was a dealer and collector. In 1905, he established his dealership in Darmstadt and started collecting drawings. He settled in Frankfort 1910, but after his shop was destroyed in 1944, he moved to his hometown of Alzey, where he lived until his death in 1951.
