Image is of four people; each standing in front of a large stone monolith in an open-air hall (archaeological site of Mitla, Oaxaca, Mexico). The handwritten note is dated December 11, 1924 and in it, Lawrence discusses Weston's photographs and identifies two of the figures in the image.Provenance
