DescriptionImage of man in profile kneeling down on one knee next to a subdued jaguar. The animal tamer is shirtless and wears matching wrist bands, lace-up boots, and form fitting shorts which are decorated with gold bands around the legs and waist. This half plate cased daguerreotype is housed in an octagonal brass mat inside a union case with a dark purple velvet liner.Provenance
