DescriptionComposed of two parts made of sterling silver, the sculpture is fabricated from forged and silver square metal sheets soldered together in clusters. One section is made of larger sheets, which would rest on the clavicle near the neck. Smaller squares and rectangular sheets create a heavy cluster on which would sit on top of the shoulder, near the blade. There is a two-pronged pin used to fasten the brooch to the wearer’s garment.ProvenanceThe artist, Pittsburg, KS, 1968-2016;
