DescriptionTwo Kodak carousels in original boxes each housing 80 image slides and 1 blank identification slide. The photographs were originally presented in a two-screen slide sequence for Beyond the Gates of Eden. All images are by Heath, except for an introductory image by Walker Evans. The images are accompanied by an audio track that begins with Heath’s recitation of a stanza of a poem by William Everson and continues with Tim Buckley’s song “Pleasant Street.”Provenance
