DescriptionThis oil on canvas painting depicts a loosely painted green landscape with a grove of five trees in the middle ground and a line of trees in the background. The sun appears to be setting on the scene, with light piercing through the tree branches. Brown dirt interrupts the green grass in the right foreground of the work, and behind this dirt patch stand five linear, back lit trees.
