DescriptionTwo part lamp, begins with a top shade in the form of a flattened hemisphere that rests on a silvered metal ring above a narrow cut base. 40 original prisms are attached to the silver ring. The two part prisms are comprised of a hexagon attached to 4 inch long faceted and pointed prisms. The electrified lamp has two outlets with pull chains. Patterns of hob stars and pinwheels identified as the Florence Star pattern by Meriden Glass. The base and stem are hollow, allowing for electric wiring to come up from beneath. Glass is unmarked. There are two sockets, one original and one later. The apparent original socket is marked “Hubbell”.
