La Californie's front steps used as a workshop for the welder fitting a scepter into the mailed fist of Picasso's warrior king. Picasso, Jan the boxer, Lump, chauffeur Janot, Claude, Kathy, Paloma and Jacqueline took ringside seats to watch the welder at work.
