This photograph is from Mark Klett’s series Time Studies. Each of the images from the series addresses a specific natural movement or change captured over a duration of time. For example, Seven Moons is comprised of seven exposures on a single negative made over a period of several hours. Klett looks to the land, sky, and cosmos to evoke a sense of deep time.
