DescriptionThe jar has a globular body, a wide mouth with flaring rim, two small loop handles in the waist, and a flat rimless base. The brick-red vessel is painted with dark-brown decoration in the body, while the bottom and two handles are left blank. The mouth rim and the shoulders are painted with saw-tooth patterns. The middle section of the body is painted with foliate scroll motifs, which spiral around two central medallions on both the front and rear side. The surface of the jar was burnished creating a smooth finish.
