DescriptionHalf-length portrait of Martin Luther flanked on either side by a male figure; below, a vignette showing Christ and the disciples. Spear-head motif painted in gold forms border of cavetto. Elaborate shoulder decoration of flowers, butterflies, cornucopias and strap scrolls.
