DescriptionImage of a seated woman wearing a dress with lace collar and heavy shawl. Her cheeks and the flowers on the upholstered chair are hand-colored; her earrings and broach are adorned in gold. This quarter plate cased daguerreotype is housed in a brass mat inside of pebbled case with a burgundy velvet liner.
