Description: Handout--Before Waterfront Organization--Unions Abolished This./Otto and I felt at home on the S.F. Waterfront. We recorded the work of the stevedores and sardine fishermen and the men who went to Alaska to fish for tuna. The waterfront was the last resort of the unemployed. The struggle for a day's work was fierce."
