Description"You get away with murder", mounted on a boardGallery LabelIn this work, Barbara Kruger combines words and photographic images culled from news and advertising to make a pointed political commentary. Trained as a graphic designer, Kruger uses the tools of modern media culture to subvert it on its own terms. Kruger’s accusatory and feminist tone is often aimed at all manifestations of power: physical, sexual, financial and military.
