DescriptionImage composed of blurry lines of colored light; pink at the top, blue in the center, and yellow near the bottom. A neon sign at the top of the image reads "BAR DANCING NIGHTLY".Gallery LabelIn this early color work, Callahan experiments with a lengthy exposure to transform the neon sign of a bar into a dynamic interplay of vibrant hues, suggesting dance movements or the blurred vision of an alcohol-induced haze. Though better known for his black-and-white prints, Harry Callahan also worked in color throughout his career.
