Pablo Picasso (1876-1957) is regarded by many as the one of the greatest creative talents of the twentieth century. Born in Spain, this prodigiously gifted artist spent nearly all his professional life in France. He lived in the resort town of Vallauris, on the Côte d'Azur, from 1948 to 1955.
