DescriptionA smiling Wilt Chamberlain in his basketball uniform looks up as he sits on a folding chair tying his left shoelace. A basketball rests on the floor to his left. The athlete's incredibly long arms and legs and his huge hands and feet dominate the image and make the chair look diminutive by comparison.Exhibition History

The supremely gifted, 7'1" tall, Wilt Chamberlain (1936-1999) was one of the most dominant basketball players of all time. He was a star in high school, in Philadelphia, and led the University of Kansas Jayhawks to the NCAA finals in his first collegiate season. As a professional, he set innumerable scoring records; in 1962, for example, he became the first player to score 100 points in a single game.
