Purchased at their sale, Medieval and Renaissance Art…from the Frederic Spitzer Collection, The Anderson Galleries, New York, January 9-12, 1929, lot 405, by Robert Lehman (1891-1969), New York, no. C11, 1929-1943 [1];

 

His gift, through Harold Woodbury Parsons, to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO, 1943.
