[1]  According to a letter from art advisor Harold Woodbury Parsons (March 15, 1949, NAMA curatorial files), the sculpture came from “De Ciccio.” This might be the coin collector Giuseppe De Ciccio, who published articles about ancient coins and was elected a fellow of the Royal Numismatic Society on June 18, 1915.
