DescriptionA very large elephant ivory tusk, patinated with a deep orange brown coloration, having on its side an aperture/mouthpiece. The sharp end of the tusk ends with the carved figuration of a human head with deep-socketed bulging eyes, the head is surmounted by a diadem ending in a cascade style coiffure.ProvenancePrivate collection, Belgium, possibly by 1906;
