MarkingsRoyal Arms of France with two Orders (the outer being of St. Esprit) beneath the Royal crown of France; the arms are contemporary with the date of 1819.(See accession file for more information.) Tureen - triangular mark (Rennes town mark), "B", oval with woman's face. Lid - oval with woman's face, diamon with animal and "B", "Biennais", illegible octagonal mark.

DescriptionFoot and bowl rims are decorated with a classical anthemion desgin. Handles with foliated trim extend on either end. Top is mounted with an acanthus overlay and a knob in the shape of a closed bud. Bears coat-of-arms with fleur de lis, wreath, crown above and croix below. Bullet hold in lid and bowl.
