DescriptionLarge jar in characteristic Zuni form with flaring shoulders and short neck. Polychrome pigment in black and red on white ground organized into two zones or registers. The first encircles the neck of the jar and consists of various curvilinear and geometric hatched patterns. The larger zone encompasses the shoulders and the sides of the jar and consists of large medallions alternating with antelope motifs with heart line decoration. The bottom of the jar is painted black.
