DescriptionA rectangular shaped textile constructed from individual textile rectangles, each measuring approximately 6-1/2 x 3-3/4 in., sewn together in rows of five alternating brown and beige colors. The rectangles are decorated with geometric pierced decoration (including circles, triangles, and arrows) stitched onto the surface in a contrasting color of thread. A brown border surrounds the rectangles and a ball fringe encircles all four sides. One end of the textile is squared off while the other end is rounded. There are burgundy colored squares sewn into the border material; one of each end and two along the long sides.ProvenanceFifi White, Shawnee Mission, KS, by 1998;
