DescriptionPrint divided into three horizontal sections. Narrow upper border: nine individual portraits of Indians. Central section, left: frontally posed waist-length portrait of Indian, fully clothed, wears single feather, character writing above his head. Central section, right: on black ground, bust portrait of Indian, facing one-quarter to the right, full headdress. Lower border: on black ground, three Indian portraits in oval formats, feather trappings left, open-mouthed Custer (?) to the right.
