DescriptionTemple valance for hanging between pillars. Upper part has a rectangular strip of tan voided cut velvet with a border of dark blue brocaded in gold thread. Lower part is of light green satin brocaded in tan, blue and silver in the form of an arch. Each side of the arch ends in the form of a half ju-i head. Three ju-i heads (the center one in red brocade) form the remainder of the arch.
