Two stylish young women exchange confidences in this dual portrait. One woman is from Nevers, the capital city of the Bourgogne region in central France. The other is from Martigues, in the French region of Provence, near the Mediterranean coast. The subtle yellow scarf and headpiece complement the soft blues that dominate the composition.
