DescriptionA central naval engagement of "Capture of La Virginie by Sir E. Pelew in the Indefatigable the Concord coming up: with in gilded inner border, the rim with four panels of sea horses and winged griffons and cherubs in lilac tints on pale blue ground, divided by four gold marine motifs, one being a ship's stern with circular inscription "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense" enclosing a crest of a winged bird surmouned by a coronet. The background of this plate is black.
