DescriptionHollow cast iron head covered with stucco. Brown face, delicate features. Deep line indicating shape of lower part of nostril and below eyes. Glass eyes. Indentation in forehead. Hair in stylized scrolls, green. Simple triangular headdress. Headdress is modern, restored in plaster.Provenance

Purchased on the Chinese art market, through Laurence Sickman, by The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO, 1933.
