MarkingsThe dexter (left) shield is that of Cresacre of Co. York and impales the arms of Marchall of Aislabie Grange, Co. York and of Lincoln and London. The crest is not recorded for either family. Stylistically the engraving is of ca. 1815-30, somewhat later than the hallmark. (See accession file for more information.)
