DescriptionTo the right, under the porch of the Cock and Bottle Inn, a fat sportsman leaning against a post and resting his hands on gun barrel, whilst his neighbor, on the thin side, stands against the far post, two dogs nearby, another man stares at the inclement weather, a fourth is seated and is downing ale. In the casement above, two females are watching the approach of a sportsman, seated on a pony, with water pouring from his hat, a sow and a pig are also on the road, trees in the background.Exhibition History
