DescriptionThis scene takes place at a dinner invitation from the United Front, which is the governing body for Tibetan expats. On a table that curves away and up on the paper, there is a dinner place set. The drawing is from the perspective of the viewer. Most prominently, there is a wine glass that is half filled with a turquoise liquid. To the left of that is a name card that reads, “Gon Ka Ga Tsu”, which is the Chinese version of the artist’s name. In the very front is an empty plate with a set of chopsticks laid across it. In the bottom left corner is a smaller plate covered by a yellow text sticker. In the background are many vibrant, warm splotches of color, on top of which sit a variety of phrases and stickers in both English and Chinese.
