DescriptionImage of a large dark rectangular structure near the center of a tiled terrace with stairs on the left and a row of foliage on the right behind the railing. The sky is filled with clouds.Gallery LabelDoes this black "door" lead inside or outside? Is it attached to a building or does it stand somehow on its own?
Grant Mudford focuses on an odd detail in the forecourt of the Sydney Opera House: the back of a signpost. Cropping this scene to exclude familiar architectural details of the famous building, Mudford creates a baffling documentary image.
